Perl Developer – LAMP with a passion for Open Source technology (LAMP, Perl, Python, Ruby, MySQL, Linux, JavaScript) sought to technically lead a talented team designing and developing a large, highly scalable and extensible web based system. The role is very hands-on, typical projects are Attribution Modelling, high-availaibility tracking and content delivery, and automation feeds/ automated testing. The emphasis will be on developing quality architecture within a fast paced commercial environment; driving full lifecycle product development in an agile development environment.

Requirements:

* You will have extensive dynamic language programmer experience (LAMP) with strong Perl and MySQL development skills and experience developing software in a Linux / Open Source environment

* Strong OO Design skills

* Proven ability to produce scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant code and write/ deploy unit and regression tests

* The ideal candidate will be passionate about open source technology, contributing to forums, blogs, user groups etc.

* You will be conversant with algorithm complexity and analysis, data structures, design principles and computer architecture

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to technically lead a team

* University degree and minimum 5 years of commercial development experience required.
