The AIX System Administrator will complete the installation and configuration of UNIX solutions (predominantly AIX) per the design, applying established standards. The Role
The DBA team is looking to add to their current talent with self-motivated, highly-experienced SQL Server Database Administrators. The DBA team is responsible for tasks such as project management, the development of best practices and repeatable procedures for deploying databases, and day-to-day operational activities including Break/fix, space management, backup and recovery, database HA/DR setup and management, and ongoing database change review. Qualifications:

- Hands on experience with Window Clustering and SQL Server Clustering implementation.
- Project management and customer interaction.
- Experience in database software management (patch and version management).
- Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies.
- Experience in designing repetitive processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- MCITP Database Administrator certification for SQL 2005 or 2008 a must.
- Experience with data warehousing database system is a plus.
- Knowledge of any database programming language and scripting.
- At least 7 years working with SQL Server technology.
